My Story

The Therapies department at Alder Hey are going on a virtual trip to Lapland and back from 1st - 24th December! So we pledge, as a team to walk, run, cycle or swim 5000 miles by Christmas Eve. As a department, we know the importance of keeping fit and staying active for both our physical and mental wellbeing. So we would like to set an example of leading a healthy lifestyle, raise awareness and hopefully raise some money towards such an important campaign.

Alder Hey Children's Charity raises vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children's Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the 330,000 patients and families they care for every year.

Since April 2013, over £56m has been raised for a range of life-saving medical equipment and facilities that are making a real difference to families every day - but they still need your support.

The 7 in 10 Mental Health Appeal aims to raise an ambitious £3 million by 2022. Alder Hey are building a brand new home for inpatients and community mental health services, right next to the main hospital. They need your support to achieve our vision and offer the best service we can to our young and deserving patients.
